With a variety of potent engines under the hoods of its trim models, buyers will certainly get something that meets their exact requirements. As of this writing, the power from the engines ranges from just a minimum of 240 horsepower to a maximum of about 570 horsepower. Although, there are some sources that indicate Porsche is in the process of creating the mother of all engines – an 800-hp juggernaut. The details are still scanty but our mules are investigating those claims, and will be made available once they are authenticated.

Beyond its engine, the cabin is stuffed with plenty of high-tech features and materials. With a brand like Porsche, it is obvious to expect a premium interior. The same is true for the new 2017 Porsche Cayenne. It is luxurious for any valet line. Also, you’ll get plenty of upscale features sets such as high-tech brake add-ons, drivetrain, and suspension details.

The only fault we have stumbled upon during nitpicking would be its modest cargo space. But who really cares! This is essentially a sports car and not an SUV or a station wagon, neither is it a sedan. As such, we don’t think its sales would be affected just because of a less voluptuous cargo space.

But let’s face the truth though, especially for those of us who would have to break the bank or dip into their children college funds just to get a taste of Porsche blissful experience. Tight budgeters would be better off with the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. You’ll still get agile engines, a head-turning exterior design and plenty of interior space for a lot lesser cost.

Other rivals that will offer the redesigned 2017 Porsche Cayenne a run for its money include the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE, and the 2017 BMW X5. All these vehicles offer premium features such as a truly excellent interior and latest tech tidbits. However, you won’t go wrong if you decide to stick with the costly 2017 Porsche Cayenne.
