This is Japan’s best and longest running supercar which is going to be updated as a new model. There are headlines that say that the GT-R is the absolute quickest and highest-tech machines in the world as it manages to win in all of the subjective and objective tests against the best cars in the world. The GT-R has taken so long of a step that the monsters in the field like Ferrari and Porsche are backing down from the fight as they no longer want their cars to be compared with the GT-R vehicle. Vehicles like the Audi R8 or the Porsche 911 are also among them. So we already have a perfect vehicle on our hands don’t we, so what is to come with the new 2017 version?

There are numerous announcements that say what the Nissan GT-R is going to do as new to update its setup. Improving the center of gravity, the weight balance, making the aerodynamics even better and doing something with the style of the car are all standard things that will be enhanced for sure. There are many renderings out there and specifications which accurately display the new additions and updates that the 2017 Nissan GT-R is going to come with, but we will not know accurately until we get to see the car in person and that comes with its release date. Till then, here is our take on the 2017 Nissan GT-R fully in this review.

2017 Nissan GT-R exterior

There are many ways one can update the exterior of the 2017 Nissan GT-R vehicle. But in fact it appears that they are going to keep it as sporty and balanced as it ever was. One of the advantages of this super cars is of course its exterior appearance which makes it one of the most beautiful and handsomest cars in the segment. The car is going to have a similar shape that is for sure but we do expect a lot of updates to come which will enhance the performance of the vehicle at the same time. This means accounting for weight loss of the car and reducing the overall weight a bit more, managing the weight balance and make it even better than it is now and finally tampering with the aerodynamics and reducing the wind resistance. The currently developed body work for the car accounts for the 220 pounds of downforce the car is going to have now.

The car is going to look similar as to now and their differences are not going to be drastic as we expect only a few added things here and there which will update the performance of the vehicle. The car has already had a very good setup in terms of aerodynamics and wind resistance, but making things even better will launch this car through the stratosphere if it gains some more momentum with the newest update. The 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo is also in stored this year besides being even more performance orientated, it will add a few design updates that will differentiate it from the base version.

The interior of the 2017 Nissan GT-R is going to come with three different trim options. Besides having a 2+2 seating arrangement as is the standard for this type of a car, there are going to be various other updates. The Premium package for instance adds dual zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, simulated suede upholstery, a rearview camera, 7” touchscreen display, 11-speaker premium audio system, satellite radio and an eight-way driver’s seat. You can even expand on the Premium trim by adding some additional packages on the inside and making your setup even better than it actually is, or rather more comfortable. This is an optional package that starts with the comfort features like leather upholstery and advances to some technological upgrades that makes the interior a much more tech-savvy and contemporary setting.

The Black Edition packages and the Nismo packages add a lot to the inside of the 2017 GT-R car. The Black Edition besides being able to add something to the exterior will add a unique black and red interior trim, which is only going to be available if you get this package. Also you will have the sports driver’s sets wrapped in leather. The Nismo package mainly focuses on the performance and will this year account for a lot of body enforcement of the car. Additionally, on the inside it will bring a unique style which you could only get with a Nismo package.

2017 Nissan GT-R engine

Wheat we assume is going to power the 2017 Nissan GT-R vehicle is the 3.8L V6 engine that cranks up to 550 horsepower and 463 pounds of torque. The car is of course going to be offered with an AWD and have a six speed automated manual transmission system. The Nismo version is going to have a larger engine and thus a better performance. The Nismo is scheduled to appear with an output of  600 horsepower and 481 pounds of torque but there are no indications for now on whether it is going to have an entirely new engine or just beef up the standard one. The previous vehicle was able to spring from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and we assume that it will be even more reduced with the latest version. Estimated top speed is 200 mph.

2017 Nissan Pathfinder Release Date & Info

2017 Nissan Pathfinder Release Date, Specs, Review – With its impressive fuel economy estimates, stylish cabin, and easy third-row ingress, the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder remains a solid choice for anyone shopping for a seven-passenger crossover SUV. In overall though, you might find come of its competitors appealing. Its date of release according to various pundit’s reports should be anticipated during the 2nd Q of 2017.

The 2017 Pathfinder appeal is further taken a notch higher with its premium interior design, user-friendly electronics interface, easy ingress and egress, good fuel economy, and impressive performance.

Although its ageing is slowly creeping, the vehicle remains a top choice for seven-passenger SUV’s shoppers. Three years ago marked its evolutionary journey after duping its track-based roots for a more civilized and family-friendly unibody underpinnings. After the surgical operation, the Pathfinder gained a solid V6 power, and a well-trimmed interior. But that was then, well, for 2017, the vehicle is still offering the same features but now with a bit of modernity and appeal.

Interior wise, the build quality and materials are nothing to complain about as they are among the industry’s best. Although several add-ons come for an extra, the standard model as it is, is competitive. But frankly speaking, we think some of the technologies and equipment should be provided as standard amenities. For instance, buyers who opt for the base model will have to either forget about Bluetooth connectivity or get it for an extra.

Some disappointments to expect in the Pathfinder include a modest cargo volume, no advanced safety features, and limited third row space. Hopefully, the segment offer better-driving and well-appointed alternatives. They include the 2017 Mazda CX-5, 2017 Honda Pilot, 2017 Dodge Durango, and the perennially successful 2017 Toyota Highlander.

Passenger space is plenty and is one of the compelling reasons why you should consider getting one for your family especially if it’s large.
