As the designers confessed themselves, the original MKS vehicle were designed in an intentionally provocative way. This is why something had to be done in order to update it and make it better for the future installments. The refined and elegant look is what the Lincoln MKS benefits most from as it manages to visually make the front of the car lower and wider. There is a bring surround that links the grille and the headlights which manage to add something great to an already expressive kind of a design.

Engine

The latest 2017 Lincoln MKS is going to have a great engine setup. As some have perhaps hoped as there is more time to the release date, there are not going to be any powertrain changes and the model is keeping with the initial offer. This means that the base version is the 3.7-liter V6 engine which comes with twin independent variable camshaft timing  and an output of 300 HP. The fuel efficiency is also great and has 18 mpg city/26 mpg highway with the all-wheel-drive model. There is also a more powerful option which is the secondary one, the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 delivering 355 HP. Both on the engines are going to use some assisting features like electric power-assisted steering, and improved braking system and Active Park Assist. 2017 Lincoln Navigator Release Date, News & Info

The news about the arriving 2017 Lincoln Navigator are nearly confirmed. The car is going to receive a much needed update that we are going to see in the very end of the 2016. Its release date is going to be during 2017 and it was due time that we finally receive a new Navigator vehicle and it just makes it much more appropriate for it to come as an early entry in the upcoming model year.

The current versions still sports a model which is dated back to 2007. The design is getting a bit out of date and that is why everyone has been yearning for a new look of the Navigator. Although the look was very good and held its own very nicely due to the lengthy passage of time it is slowly becoming outdated. We really appreciate the effort from Lincoln as they are trying to make their car a competitive one and make more sales this year with a newly introduced model.

What the latest speculations say is that the 2017 Lincoln Navigator is going to come with a Ford F-150 platform (Ford F-150 review is here). Using a different kind of platform is not only going to change the style of the car a bit but also make its performance much better, particularly as the platform is made from aluminum. A weight reduction of around 700 pounds is expected from the new model car and it will significantly upgrade the performance of the car making it much faster and durable. Keep on reading the review and see what else is in stored for you with the release of the latest Lincoln Navigator.

It is very interesting how the 2017 Lincoln Navigator’s exterior is going to change. In fact it is a car that has a legendary shape and a look which is already and established and a popular sighting around the streets. But what are they going to do with the latest one. Well it appears that there is only one sane thing to do and that is to keep much of the trademark features of the car and just updated the exterior. The car is an established vehicle in every community and is a standout in the SUV segment, making a drastic overhaul will only do much more worse for the brand than good. This is what they considered immensely when they were discussing on the redesign of the Navigator and we think that they have managed to pull a great choice by doing it like so. It also has some more aggressive lines compered to the last Cadillac Escalade, the current rival.

The proportions of the car have been kept completely the same and we still get a car that we have been used to for a long time. We are also going to get some updates in the places where the car is going to need it the most. The LED headlights have been kept and as well as the shape of the headlights also, but we think this part was something that could have been changed. Also, the major additions only make the car much beautiful and elegant looking, which older models did have but not in a presentable and noticeable way like this.

Interior

The interior of the 2017 Lincoln Navigator includes four doors and enough space to make the included passengers feel good and very pleasant. What makes the car stand out from before is the added elegance and comfort that has been added to the inside of the car. We always knew that Lincoln has made good and very comfortable vehicle but it appears that they are trying to out due themselves this year additionally. There are no full specs currently released about the Navigator vehicle but we are hoping that some info gets to be released soon. Currently we only have the information that we are in for an interior setting of higher quality and with some more contemporary gadgets added to the inside. We also hope that we get to see some new colors pallets and different types of materials on the inside as it will make for an exciting new change compared to the current options that we have going on for us.

Engine

There have been some changes with the powertrain of the 2017 Lincoln Navigator car as it going to change engines for next year. The standard one that is going to be used is going to be the 5.4-liter V8 Triton engine, which is actually the one from last year as it still maintains its position with this vehicle. But the bigger news this year is the newest option which adds the 3.5-liter V6 engine which makes 370 horsepower and 430 pounds-feet of torque. Additionally, the Navigator plug-in option is rumored to be available as well for the newer models. The engines are going to come with a  six-speed automatic transmissions, which is currently available, but rumors say that we  might get to see even  the Ford’s new nine- and ten-speed automatics as well inside the car.

2017 Lincoln MKC Release Date and News

2017 Lincoln MKC Release Date, Specs, Info – For those who are looking for a generous standard equipment, good value, cushy ride with optional adaptive suspension system, and serene and smooth cabin, the Lincoln MKC for 2017 is a good choice. However, so-so performance, and a cramped cabin keep the MKC from being a must-have. We should expect the MKC in July 2017.

Lincoln has borrowed liberally from Ford for a quite some time now, and has managed to get away due to the extra levy on its prestigious badge, and extra leather which “arguably” make it Lincoln. But you are in for a big surprise with the new 2017 Lincoln MKC. This small crossover from Lincoln doesn’t feel and drive anything close to Ford.

2017 Lincoln MKC exterior, white color, side view, alloy wheels

With its available two four-cylinder turbocharged powerplants, a premium cabin, exterior and interior accents, and a selective modifiable suspension, the MKC for 2017 is unquestionably different. With these features in its fold, the new MKC seems to share nothing even with the Ford’s Escape which it shares a basic structure with. It is a no mean feat by any standards.

This refreshing appeal further propels the MKC to the high-end status in its class. Interior wise, the vehicle comes with a standard feature galore such as adaptive suspension dampers, sound-deadening materials, active noise cancellation, intricately crafted seats with appealing support, and new technologies. Even with its bargain price, the base model offers the Sync 3 touchscreen interface.

On the flipside, however, the vehicle falls short on several things like nondescript handling and performance, grabby brakes, snug backseat, uninspiring acceleration, and modest cargo capacity. That said, alternatives to consider include the 2017 BMW X3, 2017 Acura RDX. These vehicles are hard to beat in this class as they offer superior handling, comfortable seats, brisk acceleration, and ample cargo space.

Other formidable choices include the 2017 Lexus NX200t, the 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport, and the 2017 Audi Q5. The 2017 Lincoln MKC is still worth a shot nevertheless.
