According to multiple sources, the new Urus will, in addition to the above, offer a best-in-class CO2 figure, breathtaking performance of about 600 horsepower and a fascinating interior that offers lots of versatility for everyday usability. The 2017 Urus release date should be expected sometime in early 2017.

The chassis also sheds some weight thanks to the extensive use of lightweight materials, and thanks to the diet, the vehicle will now be able to offer breathtaking dynamics unseen before.
It offers a fun-to-drive character due to its SUV concept which means it offers a respectable ground clearance, a versatile luggage compartment, spacious interior accommodations, and an all-time all-wheel drive.
Interior wise, the performance is matched by the well-thought out designs and trimmings. This super athlete comes with features such as patented Forged Composite and innovative materials featuring carbon fiber technology.
For starters in this segment, the SUV category has seen an unprecedented growth in the last couple of years, and this is partly because of their everyday mobility and a fun-to-drive character. The automaker hopes to endear itself to many consumers with the Urus due to its appealing crossover features and the already flourishing demand for such vehicles.
The target markets are primarily the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, Germany, China, and the Middle East. According to Lambo, the annual production according to preliminary reports could conceivably be around 3,000 vehicles.
According to Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, “Sports Utility Vehicles stand for emotion and freedom, and the Urus is a very concrete idea for the future of Lamborghini. These category of vehicles is one of the most successful, and, the Urus, happens to be the Lamborghini of the SUVs.”
2017 Lamborghini Urus Interior Concept & Exterior Changes
The overall concept of the new Urus redefines the benchmark for its competition thanks to its uncompromising front and center design, and performance. There is plenty of space for both luggage and four occupants in the cabin. Many will find it practical for everyday usability for their family, and occasional leisure pursuits with friends.
One unmistakable trait that however remains unaltered is its nameplate – Lamborghini. This therefore means it is highly athletic, muscular, powerful, and, of course, elegant. According to Lamborghini, its dimensions are as follows: width – 1.99 meters, height – 1.66 meters, and length – 4.99 meters. With these carefully thought-out proportions, there is no doubt the Urus fits perfectly into the sporty SUV class.
The new 2017 Lamborghini Urus adheres to the logic of a unique design – an artwork of avant-garde design, pure and minimalist, and a technical sculpture in a rapid movement. And similar to the Aventador, the Urus defines its precision via its extremely tight, razor-sharp lines. The construction, design, and body shell is further highlighted by the clean, taut and finely executed surfaces.
Some of the notable exterior changes include tweaked headlight’s design resulting in a heptagonal, horizontal form, huge air intakes, three high performance LED running lights, and a highly dynamic roofline.
