2017 Infiniti Q50 Release Date, News and Specs – Infiniti is set to unveil the Q50 production coupe at the Detroit Motor Show this month, but that’s not the only news we’ll be hearing from the company. The 2017 Infiniti Q50 is set to also debut at the same avenue and according to preliminary rumors, the vehicle is significantly updated over the previous model though you might need to be either hawk-eyed or a seasoned Q50 user to identify the changes. We should expect its release date during the 1st Q of 2017.
The changes are fairly minor and are mainly concentrated at the front and rear fascias. A significant update which has been making headlines in the automotive scene are the new suite of three brand new engines under its hood. The only carryover engine set to be offered is the hybrid engine, which is a good thing given its impressive fuel economy ratings.
The base engine to sport under the hood of the entry-level is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine which is Nissan-built and also a design version of Mercedes-Benz. It is rated at 208 horsepower and 258 lbs. of torque. The RWD system returns as the default drive mode.
Other new techs to debut with the new 2017 Infiniti Q50 include the direct-acting wiring steering system, and the electronically controlled suspension system. The lather is popular due to its ability to offer sport and comfort settings.
Other strengths include tons of standard features, easy egress and ingress, excellent fuel economy ratings from its new engine lineup, and a spacious trunk. Despite the news, the Q50 tends to suffer from a certain level of duality which its rivals don’t. As such, we recommend checking its rivals before ultimately committing.
