For 2017, Ford aims to continue offering buyers the same unique combination that has been time-tested over time, but with a bit of tweaks here and there.

In terms of the competition, buyers should also take some time to see what the 2016 Toyota 4Runner and the 2016 Nissan Xterra offer. The Toyota 4Runner shares a bit much with the Everest, ranging from features such as a tall ground clearance, a robust four-wheel-drive system, independent front suspension system, to a body on-frame architectural design. The Nissan Xterra, just like the Toyota 4Runner, comes with a four-wheel drive, a solid rear axle, V6 engine, and a body-on-frame platform. What however makes the Xterra appealing is its favorable price point which starts from an MSRP of $23,000.

Additionally, with their elevated seats, the driver is able to have a commanding view of the pavement and can effortlessly accommodate up to four occupants together with their cargo.

You might complain about their smaller and less powerful engines, but will be impressed with their laudable fuel economy ratings which will save you some bucks at the pump.
