Audi A3 2.0 TDI Premium Release Date, Review, Price – It appears that we are very close in seeing a new 2017 Audi A3 vehicle which is going to be released by the end of the year. The spy photos have already circled the media and everybody is expecting to see what the end product is going to be like.

The first time we saw the Audi A3 vehicle was in 1996 when the car was developed for the first time. The initial release saw the development of a three door hatchback which was built on Volkswagen’s Group A platform and it shared the underpinnings with vehicles like the Audi TT and Golf. With the time passage the car became a five door hatchback and there was even a cabriolet version added to the roster as well. In 2012 there was the release of a third-generation A3, which went through a great overhaul, while next year we were finally introduced to the sedan version as well.

The 2017 Audi A3 sedan is going to receive an update as it was the most popular model bearing the A3 badge and was due for a checkup. The information are being released day in and day out, which will bring some novelties about the A3 car each day. Currently the biggest update is connected with its appearance and despite the fact that it is being hidden with a lot of camo, there are clear indications on how the car has changed. There is a considerable number of rivaling vehicles that are also scheduled to come out and whit the 2017 Acura ILX and 2017 Buick Verano, the A3 is going to have a lot of things on its hands. This review holds all the current information about the change of the car so browse though it in order to find out the latest news.

2017 Audi A3 exterior

Audi A3 2.0 TDI Premium rear view, alloy wheels, taillights

The update of the exterior of the 2017 Audi A3 is going to add some new elements. The vehicle is going to be updated but do not expect to see many revolutionary changes as the vehicle is going to carry many of its present features to the 2017 model. The grille is going to add some sharper features while the headlights are going to follow the same zigzag direction of the bottom part of the car. So the A3 headlight design is going to slant downward a bit and the whole front fascia is a bit downsized and smaller. The air openings at the outer end of the fascia are still present but the horizontal flats have been changed a bit as they do not protrude outward as they do did before. The sides of the car are going to remain completely the same and the deep line that flows through the middle section of the car is still going to dominate the sides of the car. The same goes for the dual body line that starts at the headlights and connects to the taillight part.

In the rear, the maid body line that flows through the rear fascia is going to remain. But the innovation at the back is a completely new diffuser. The bumper is going to change and the added lines in the middle part which continues though the lower part of the car are going to be make the car look sporty. The taillights are going to have some red and much clearer lenses and they add some clear two-red-color hues to the lenses at the back. The shape remains the same, obviously, and the shape the vehicle very nicely. Generally speaking the vehicle is going to adopt quite a nice look with various new elements making it a modern addition to the market now.

Audi A3 For 2017 – Interior

Audi A3 2.0 TDI Premium steering wheel, lcd screen, gear shift knob, steering wheel

The interior of the 2017 Audi A3 should not change that much. As there were only spy shots about the exterior released and there is scarce information about the outside of the car, it is hard to estimate which changes are going to be adopted for the new model. It appears that most of the design is going to remain the same and the vehicle is going to carry over the same shape and design that was used for the 2015 model. This means that the interior will keep the same dashboard design language that is incorporated in the Audi A8 vehicle. Keeping the dash uncluttered should be their main point here as it will keep the car useful and good looking like this. The infotainment system is going to be updated and a new touchscreen should be added as well which will keep the model feel of the vehicle. The facelift should do well for the A3 car but more information is going to follow suit in the future period before the release.

Engine Specs

Audi A3 2.0 TDI Premium engine

There are actually many assumptions which drivetrain the Audi A3 is going to continue with. Man speculations suggest on a 1.8-liter, Turbocharged TFSI engine. If this proves to be so it will enable the vehicle to produce 170 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque and 0-60 mph acceleration of 7.2 seconds on a top speed of 130 mph. Another possibility is the vehicle using a 2.0-liter TFSI engine with an output of 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The vehicle achieves 60 mph in 5.2 seconds in that case with a top speed of 130 mph. Perhaps the most possible option and the one many are cheering for the appear is the 2.0-liter TDI diesel option and we have yet to see a diesel option on this kind of a car. Perhaps the 2017 model gets to be the first model which adds this type of an engine to the mix. The gearshift option is going to be the same six-speed S Tronic, Dual clutch transmission seen on previous models.

The sharp front grille is transferred as well as the new redesigned headlights that vehicle has received. But what makes the difference and what makes things look much more aggressive is the honeycomb mesh that styles the car in a great way as it also styles some of the other high-performance Audi vehicles. It uses a single frame grille, adds some air vents on the bumper and a silver blade-like element seen on the lower apron of the car.

2017 Audi Q7 front view, alloy wheels

The first generation Q7 has been released in 2007 and was ultimately available in the US immediately. Along the years it received a few facelifts and updates, but nothing major, as it was always the vehicle which managed to set trends and not follow them. The Q7 is characterized by incorporating some truck-like features and some parts that you would rather see in a sports-wagon than in a traditional SUV car. All of this made the popularity of the Q7 vehicle possible and now it is reached its second-generation model with the 2017 version.

The 2017 Q7 luxury crossover car is going to arrive on the market at the very start of 2017. 2017 Audi Q7 exterior

What we can expect with the exterior look of the 2017 Audi Q7 is that it is going to be much more wagon like and a lot less SUV like. This has been the characteristic of the past designs as well, but this time they are taking it a bit further and going on a path that will make these characteristics even more apparent and noticeable. The exterior dimensions are going to be kept the same or at least similar to the first-gen car. There wasn’t really a need of making things larger and elongating anything with the dimensions of the car so it is more than appropriate to keep things the same here. But the design or actually the look is going to change a bit as the vehicle is going to be kept a bit sleeker and will be positioned lower. This is a much better look and goes well with the period. Although the Q7 has always had a contemporary look this one was necessary to make the car competitive on the market for the upcoming year.

The car is also going to receive a more modern package which is going to add more appropriate characteristics for the car. We expect the car to make it big with the newest look and it is going to be one of its better sides of the car. The front part of the car goes through the most significant changes for its brand. The front side receives a new hexagonal grille, which is a trademark of all the current Audi designs. Boasting the front side of the car are the added LED lighting features that provide more clearer and branded look of the car. With the new characteristics added the car is going not only to be a much more modern looking vehicle but will also have more road presence.

It adds a very similar kind of a design to all the newest sedan interiors which is a very nice setup for any Audi vehicle. The look is characterized by having wide and thin dashboard and a control setup which is low and sparing looking. All of this allows for much more functionality from the car and makes it much easier for use. The layout of the controls has more logic to it and enables the driver to utilized them with the best possible potential.

The Multi Media Interface is what controls the majority of the vehicle’s setting. It is located on the top center part of the dash and shows you the best way on how to use every part of the car. To help you control everything there is a single high-resolution screen which shows you all the necessary information about the car in any given time.
