But this is an important news as Giulia makes a return to its roots by being offered as a RWD model. Alfa Romeo also is also going to start first with a high performance model, dubbed the QV, which is going to rival the Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 and BMW M3 models first than anything else.

As the base version is still under development, it is interesting that we are going to get a high powered version first. It usually goes the other way around but that only means that Alfa Romeo is planning something spectacular for its release that comes later this year. The Quadrifoglio Verde is a great competitor to its rivals particularly as with some great specs comes in a lither form than any other competing vehicle.

The new 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia has taken an interesting direction in terms of its exterior redesign. First of all, as the new Dodge Charger has been made available for European markets it introduced a lot of new ideas and concept, which are going to be utilized here. That is way we get a front fascia that does not look like anything ever seen or produced by Alfa Romeo company. It has some sleek headlamps which are made to extend towards the split intake which is positioned down below. The model manages to keep the traditional shield-shaped grille that many Alfa Romeo models had before it as it combines pretty well with the aggressive hood design.

The back side does not offer any radical changes as the front side, but does mange to keep the same level of aggressiveness. The tailgates are a reminiscence of the 2006 Alfa 159 model, and everything else around it has been designed in a sporty way. There is a subtle spoiler placed on top of the trunk lid behind and there is a beefy looking bumper where a larger diffuser is placed as well.

The inside of the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia is simple and sporty, which is what was expected for the interior of the car. It is driver orientated, like any sports car on the market, and has the dash which features an enormous instrument cluster and an infotainment screen as well. The size of the buttons and knobs is minimal so to say as it tries to make it cleaner and easier to control.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia does not feature the wrap around dashboard design that many of the contemporary vehicles have which is an interesting thing about this design. The QV trim is going to add a lot of premium features in order to enhance its model. These include Alcantara leather that is going to wrap not only the seats in, but also the wheel as well. Contrast stitching is seen on the dashboard, door panels and armrests as well.

New 2017 Alfa Romeo 4C – Release Date, Specs & Info

With a razor-sharp handling, impressive fuel economy and acceleration, and racecar-influenced manufacturing processes, the new 2017 Alfa Romeo 4C joins the ranks of exclusive exotics in the market, but in doing so, the 4C gives up a lot of comfort to attain its performance. Its release date should be expected sometime in the beginning of next year, at least according to recent reports we unearthed.

After a brief hiatus from the U.S, the Italian manufacturer is trying its hand again with the 4C under a new ownership by Fiat and now related to Chrysler. The main reason for the quiet exit almost two decades ago was as a result of costly and unreliable iconic roadsters and sporty sedans.

Alfa has used plenty of clever engineering manufacturing this vehicle, and the result is a car that handles and steers well, provides solid EPA ratings, and accelerates like a true racecar. Built in Modena, Italy, the 4C makes extensive use of aluminum and carbon fiber tub for the suspension to try and offer a rigid and lightweight structure. Also, the same materials are used for its crash supports and roof structure. The result is a curb weight that weighs just 2,500 lbs.

Matters under the hood remain unchanged. A 237 hp- generating turbocharged 1.7L engine is offered. Sure, the output is meagre compared to other exotics that offer well over 700-hp, but it seems sufficient for a car worth that weight. The mill comes mated to a standard six-speed, automated-clutch manual transmission system.

Interior wise, there is easy ingress for its occupants and the seats inside are supportive and comfortable. The cabin design is well-crafted and the audio and climate controls are well-laid out Ferrari-style. In overall, the changes you should expect from the 4C include a leather-wrapped instrument cluster, a rear aluminum diffuser, a race-oriented suspension system, and carbon fiber mirror caps and a rear spoiler.

Rivals available for the 4C include the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette, BMW M4, and the Porsche Cayman.

2017 Alfa Romeo 4C Engine Specs

Motivation for the Alfa Romeo 4C 2017 is offered by the 237 hp- and 258 lbs. ft. of torque – generating turbocharged 1.7L four-cylinder engine under its hood. The electronically controlled rear deferential and the four-mode driving selector are offered as standard systems, as is the automated-clutch manual transmission system.

The rapid-fire dual-clutch automated manual is excellent at shifting smoothly at speed, creeping into a parking lot, and adapting to the driver’s mood. The output of “just” may not evoke any excitement, but the thrill of it all is perhaps the meagre 1.7L that manages to make it a frenetic car.
