Although overshadowed by fresher rivals, the new 2017 Ford Taurus is an appealing, classic rendition of the full-size American sedan. Some of the appealing features available for the new model include an available all-wheel drive system, excellent crash scores, humongous trunk, comfortable ride quality, and a fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine. the Ford Taurus release date should be expected sometime in the second half of 2017 probably as a 2018 year model.
Now in its eighth year of production, the new vehicle is better than ever, however, grey areas are starting to show to become a commonplace eyesore. With newer models bringing in more freshness and upscale technologies into the segment, the Ford Taurus redesign was something the American marque wouldn’t afford to gamble over.
That said, the new Ford Taurus 2017 is better and comes with a plethora of new features and technologies for the money. Driving dynamics are also better relative to the previous model. Moreover, it is competent and stylish although it falls a bit short of class-leading status. One upgrade that catches the eye is the upgraded Sync 3 infotainment system. It is better in both responsiveness and visual quality than the outgoing model.
Also, the skin-deep qualities of the Taurus such as the powerful SHO model, spacious cabin and trunk and an all-wheel drive are available. Granted, the Taurus has been in the segment for quite some time now, and it is finding it difficult to keep up with the competition. Most features fall short of the expected threshold. Foibles present include a ponderous handling, poor exterior visibility, and a hefty price tag for the high-performance Taurus SHO model.
That said, it’d be judicious to check what else is out there. Our top recommendation is the “A” rated Toyota Avalon 2017. Others include the Chevrolet SS, 2017 Chrysler 300, and the Chevrolet Impala for 2017. The 2017 Toyota Avalon has improved in leaps and bounds and comes with features such as a quiet and upscale interior, a wide array of optional features, an above-average fuel economy, and a voluptuous trunk and passenger space. All these and many more features for an MSRP of $32,650.
