The 2017 Ferrari FF will arrive in its fourth model year form as its release dates nears. The newest car is being developed as an updated version of the already popular FF brand from Ferrari which was originally built in 2011. The FF was craving for a much needed update and it has finally arrived as the newest Ferrari vehicle will gain a facelift which will see it become a much better and updated version of itself.
The First Ferrari FF was originally showcased at the Geneva Auto Show in 2011 and was showcased as the company’s first all-wheel drive vehicle. It was developed as the successor of the 612 Scaglietti, which also lead the FF gain a rather unconventional design for a Ferrari coupe car. What enabled the popularity of the vehicle to flourish was the combination of the all-wheel drive which was a first time for this sort of a car, a hatchback design and a very powerful V-12 engine.
The 2017 Ferrari FF is scheduled to be released by the end of the car as the vehicle will arrive this year rather than 2017 as it is officially being released under that year model name. It has been confirmed that the car is going to be given a lot of updates and upgrades but there is still much mystery surrounding the car and its specs that are still not confirmed. The vehicle was seen doing round in Europe and is where the initial spy photos were taken. We are looking forward to seeing the new car in action any time soon and hope that it will be an exciting new addition to the Italian automakers’ roster as the original version was. This review contains all the currently known information about the 2017 Ferrari FF car so far known.
2017 Ferrari FF powertrain
The powertrain part is where most of the changes for the 2017 Ferrari FF will occur. The fact is that the FF is going to use the same 6.3-liter V-12 engine as before but will have an updated power output. The car is going to make to a 660 horsepower and 503 pound-feet of torque performance, but will get an added bump of 700 horsepower and 530 pound-feet. So it enables the 0-60 mph acceleration possible in 3 seconds flat which is an 0.1 improvement than before. Top speed is rated at 211 mph.
But what was also mentioned is that the 2017 Ferrari FF is going to add a 3.9-liter V-8 engine, initially developed for the California T model. The bigger and better engine is going to produce 550 horsepower and will initially come with less carbon-dioxide emission and better fuel economy. Innovations for both engine options are the four-wheel-drive system and a new eight-speed, dual-clutch transmission.
Based on the released spy photos, the 2017 Ferrari FF is going to be quite a looker. There are many things that remand a mystery regarding the new Ferrari car, but the initial thought is that the car has been given a well deserving update which see it as a much better choice than any other out there. The most apparent change is the revised bumper area. The car will feature some added aprons and a revised grille part as well. The front bumper is going to be a familiar sight for the FF but will add new air intakes that bring forth a nice aesthetic addition to the car and also enable the cooling of the engine part and brakes as well.
The front grille besides being redesigned is also shorter and smaller than the one that was used for the previous version of the car. The front fascia has gained most of the changes but the rear end has remained mostly unchanged and is identical to the one before. The diffuser is a bit different as it has an altered shape. It is certain that a lot of new additions are also going to appear for the Ferrari FF as the release date gets nearer but for now these are the updates that have been released or spied.
2017 Ferrari FF interior changes
Currently, there are not any interior changes for the 2017 Ferrari FF made. The cabin is going to remain mostly the same, according to some updated information. The vehicle may continue to use the same kind of an interior while only adding some new color choices and leather upholsteries. The Interior is already a good one so we do not see anything significantly being changed there. The optional equipment may also prove to be a factor here as there may be some changes in terms of the materials that are going to be used on the inside. We may perhaps expect some bigger changes to happen with a mid-cycle refresh, which will come subsequently after this one. The infotainment system is also a factor here and we expect some new additions to be made as well as some added and updated technology inside the vehicle.

Price and release date
The price for the 2017 Ferrari FF is still not available. But as we are going to get an updated version of the engine and it is apparent that there are going to be some new tech additions to the car, the price is going to be a bit higher than with the current one. The present Ferrari FF is priced around $300,000, so the starting price of the 2017 version is going to be at $250,000 and will initially get higher from that. We might also expect the 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider to emerge soon as it also in the plans for releasing soon.
The release date sees the Ferrari FF available by the end of the year. Despite the fact that Ferrari is keeping a lot of the things about their new car a mystery, it may happen that the car gets released in the very end of 2016. But if this does not happen than the start of the 2017 is also the possible release date for the car.
