2017 Chrysler 300 Review

2017 Chrysler 300 Release Date, Specs, Price – Although the interior of the new Chrysler 300 for 2017 may not feel as plush of upscale as a European luxury sedan, you still get value with its cabin furnishings. The cabin comes furnished with extensive soft-touch materials and rich finishes, and its trim lineup also adds the two color-tone schemes and visual flair. Its date of release is still contentious at the moment but our sources at Chrysler who didn’t want to be mentioned due to obvious reasons alleged the vehicle will probably be released during the 1st Q of next year.

Tech wise, one of our favorite stand out is the 8.4” Uconnect touchscreen interface that mates crisp graphics and large buttons with a logical menu structure. Some features worth waiting for in the new sedan include the Beats Audio system, the Alpine system and the Harman Kardon system. Others are the Siri Eyes Free and the drag-and-drop functionality.

Given its dimensions, the 300 promises its occupants of ample interior space. The rear seats offer its occupants lots of leg-and headroom, while the adjustable driver seat and telescopic-and-tilt steering wheel are especially generous.

The cargo volume, however, isn’t that much relative to other large sedans that offer in excess of the 16.3 cubic feet of trunk volume the 300 offers. Other downsides to owning the 300 include a limited rear visibility, uninspiring braking performance, and less backseat space relative to other large sedans.

But if you can’t live with that, we suggest you shop around before committing. Some of its alternatives include the vastly improved American-made 2017 Chevy Impala, the quiet and smooth riding LaCrosse 2017, the rear wheel drive Hyundai Genesis, and the well-appointed and crisp Kia Cadenza. Although, if you value luxury and attitude, the redesigned 2017 Chrysler 300 is on top of the game.
