The new 2017 Chevrolet Impala offers an available V6 power, an appealing blend of style and power as well as a serene and quiet ride. And with coveted features such as excellent crash-test scores, comfortable backseat, and a sleek, feature rich cabin, the Impala will certainly be a smart choice for a large sedan. Its release is expected to occur in early 2017, if online sources are to be trusted.
In its fourth year of production, the Impala continues to impress with its reputation as a reliable and spacious sedan. For starters, the Impala is a seasoned sedan that has the big-car basics. Its trunk alone would be enough to relocate a small African village. That’s how large it is!
The cabin is also chock full of convenient features and technologies such as an 8-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. The graphics are crisp and the controls intuitive and have a higher response than the previous model’s.
The safety department has been updated and offers a slew of most sought-after technologies such as blind-spot monitoring, forward collision alert and mitigation, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane mitigation and warning, and hill assist, among others. Add them to the outstanding crash-test scores and a confident V6 power and you get a restful, serene road tripper even on long hauls.
There are however many other alternatives in the market today. One perennial leader in this segment and which happens to be our favorite is the 2017 Toyota Avalon sedan. You can also opt for its fuel-efficient and smooth Hybrid version. Others in the segment include the 2017 Kia Cadenza, the 2017 Hyundai Azera, and the 2017 Chrysler 300.
