2017 Honda HR-V Release Date & Info

Honda is known globally for its ability to produce fun-to-own, fun-to-drive, and efficient vehicles. And with attributes such as an excellent exterior visibility, spacious interior and seating, high-fuel economy, and a versatile cargo loading under its belt, the 2017 Honda HR-V is certainly the latest breed that promises to revolutionize its class. This comprehensive review will cover everything that you need to know about the latest HR-V model ranging from interior appointments to what lies beneath its skin. So be our guest.

2017 Honda HR-V exterior, front and rar view

Given the CR-V’s uninterrupted growth in terms of girth and sales, Honda saw the opportunity to create a new entry-level crossover SUV model and going by the available stats, it seems to have made the best choice with the HR-V model. For starters, you could assume the HR-V is the “baby” whereas the CR-V is the “mama” and the Honda Pilot is the “papa.”

Such a comparison doesn’t mean the tyke of the family – Honda HR-V lacks the pride that is naturally associated with crossovers such as utility and power. In fact, it is based on the subcompact Fit hatchback model. The “Magic Seat,” as Folks at Honda popularly refer to it is a special seat that has the ability of taking on long cargo or bulky items effortlessly. Couple this with impressive fuel economy ratings and a solid collection of high-tech features and Whoa man! You’ve got yourself a crossover that offers value for the money.

Lest you think the HR-V is a perfect vehicle lacking in faults, its infotainment touchscreen interface might prove to be frustrating at times. Also, its acceleration trails most of its rivals. However, this shouldn’t be enough reason to make you bolt out as there are plenty of features and value with the HR-V. Whichever way though, it all depends on what you’re after. Several of its rivals include the 2017 Mazda CX-5, the 2017 Nissan Juke, and the 2017 Fiat 500X.

A segment-average time of 9.7 seconds is what you require to get the HR-V EX-L Navi past 60 mph.

Ford really surprised the people with the announcement that the new Ranger was in the making and that is its scheduled to get its release date in 2017. The Ranger got much of its popularity in the US market and it is expected that it is going to continue from there and make it big once more.

Many of the all-American compact trucks were discontinued or the production of them stopped in 2012, as the popularity has shrunken and those kind of tucks were kicked in the curb. But the previous year marked a great comeback for GM models as one by one they have started emerging back. Ford decided not to waste any time and thus the new Ford Ranger has been given a revamp and will make its official appearance in the upcoming year.

As Ford has already decided to bring back the popular brand that is the Ranger, there are many spy photos circling the net and a lot of assumptions what they may decide to do with this truck. The most obvious thing is to get it modernized and apply some contemporary equipment to the vehicle and prepare it for some modern times. This is one of the premises of updating the vehicle but it seems that the designer from Ford are taking a more traditional approach which is going to satisfy the fans which are used to having their own brand without any grand experimental changes.

The new 2017 Ford Ranger is going to be a perfect balance and a combination of a contemporary design and a old school appear. 2017 Ford Ranger interior and exterior changes and news

Currently the design of the 2017 Ford Ranger look pretty promising. Based on the recently released pictures and photos that we were able to get we see a showcasing of some nice features and great craftsmanship by the designers. They have applied a noticeable crossover design for their vehicle and are taking the direction to make it popular like such. The headlights and the foglights have a similar design between them but are changes from the last model as they look more angular. The Ford Ranger will have the standard dimensions of a full-size pickup.

Much effort has been put in reshaping the vehicle properly. This means adding some new and stylish features to the look of the vehicle that were not present there before. They are obviously studying the competition a bit and are making every effort to make the car seem contemporary but without really doing too much to strive away from a regular and traditional look of Ranger. We expect to see some changes happen until the official release date comes as well, but for now we think the redesign is going to be a good change for the 2017 Ford Ranger and will win over a lot of the crowd.

Additionally, the truck is going to be designed using a combination of highs strength steel and aluminum additions which will make the car both strong and durable at the same time but also lightweight from before.

The interior of the 2017 Ford Ranger has been designed in a more carlike fashion. The positioning of the dash has been lowered and the instrument panel does not have a complex design to it making it easier to use. You can even get an 8-inch touchscreen in the upper trim levels for a much easier use. The cabin materials have also been updated and as the base version does hold a pretty decent set there is also an offered array of premium materials that can be chosen and used as well.

The technological update is a big part of the innovation process for the Ranger. The vehicle is going to benefit from a completely technologically  advanced package that is going to be fitted inside. The infotainment system is the one getting the most changes and the upper trim levels are going to have an abundance of them for you t choose optionally. Safety is a big issue with these sort of vehicles and you are getting a fully updated package here as well.
